Suril Kantaria

Suril is an operator and investor based in San Francisco. Prior to Refound, he was with Twitter / X where he was brought in to help lead its operational turnaround. Since 2019, he was cofounder / CEO at insurtech startup Savvy, which was incubated in Y Combinator and grew into a market leader in health insurance HRAs. Savvy was acquired by incumbent Take Command Health in 2022. Suril began his career as a private equity investor on the tech team at TPG, which led early rounds in Uber, Airbnb & Spotify and buyouts of Ellucian & McAfee.

Kevin Cox

Kevin Cox has over 10 years of experience leading software teams at high-growth tech companies in Silicon Valley. Kevin led engineering at Clipboard Health, a tech-enabled medical staffing marketplace, as the company profitably scaled from $10M to $150M+ in revenue and grew to a $1.3B valuation. In 2019 he founded Savvy with Suril, and built the first purpose-built e-broker and payment platform in an emerging healthcare vertical. He was the founding engineer and first employee at Finalis, a tech-enabled financial services firm and the fastest-growing investment bank in the US.
